The Mudgeeraba Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a brand-new initiative designed to support and celebrate our vibrant local business community — the Small Business Growth Grant Program 2025!
This unique opportunity is all about giving back to our members, helping them take the next step in their business journey while strengthening the economic and community fabric of Mudgeeraba.
Why We’re Offering These Grants
Local businesses are the heartbeat of our region. From cafés and retailers to service providers and innovative startups, small businesses bring jobs, character, and energy to our community. By offering these grants, the Chamber is reinvesting directly into our members, helping them to innovate, grow, and make an even bigger impact on Mudgeeraba’s future.
What’s on Offer
The program provides a total of $2,000 in funding, split into four grants of $500 each. One grant will be awarded each month from September through December 2025. Successful applicants will receive payment directly into their nominated business account within 30 business days.
Who’s Eligible?
To be considered, applicants must:
Be a current financial member of the Mudgeeraba Chamber of Commerce.
Be based in the Mudgeeraba region or make a significant contribution to the local economy.
Hold a valid ABN, be registered to operate in Queensland, and be actively trading for at least 6 months.
Be a small business with turnover under $10 million per year.
Each business can only receive one grant per year, ensuring the opportunity is shared widely across our membership.
How Grants Will Be Assessed
Applications will be reviewed by the Chamber’s Grant Assessment Committee, which includes Chamber representatives and an independent community member.
Each application will be judged equally across four key areas:
Business Merit – viability, management capability, and growth potential.
Use of Funds – clear, measurable business purposes.
Community Benefit – positive impact on Mudgeeraba’s economy and people.
Innovation & Growth – evidence of development, expansion, or new ideas.
How Funds Can Be Used
Grant recipients must use the funds within three months of receipt for the purposes outlined in their application. This might include investing in new equipment, marketing, training, or other activities that foster business growth and community benefit. Recipients will be asked to provide a short report and receipts to show how the grant helped their business thrive.
